Assessment, feedback and reflection in response to Unit 2 completion

 

My personal feedback from Unit 2 ahead of beginning my FMP project. Overall I’m really pleased with this feedback, no just as an achievement, but also to see all my efforts and hard work throughout my projects are being presented and acknowledged. Again happy and reassured with how aligned my 'strengths' and 'Even better ifs' are with how I predicted they may be. Allowing me therefore to acknowledge that I can not only assess and review my work effectively, have a good understanding of the assessment criteria but also that I am aware in myself of where I need to develop and grow most. 

 

I will now look to refer to this feedback through my FMP project to ensure I grow and develop in the places required, ensuring I become a more rounded and developed artist and designer ahead of moving forward to my degree in Fashion Design.

 

Personal targets and reflection:

 

.Reflect and evaluate strengths within previous projects allowing myself to identify areas I want to further develop and enhance within new avenues in my FMP

 

.Look to integrate previous successful techniques and concepts in new ways of thinking and levels of practice, evolving and developing my overall creativity and outlook

 

.Consciously make an effort to stay up-to-date with developments, events and areas within current arts. Allowing myself to be influenced and inspired by the current world of fashion and wider art (magazines, articles, socials, collection books I already own, exhibitions etc)

 

.Widen my interpretations, preconceptions and expectations of ways of presenting the body and forming fashion, allowing myself to creatively explore new methods, materials and less conventional, alternative forms within ‘fashion’
